I feel most blessed and grateful for the privilege of witnessing his birth--touching his tiny paw moments after he arrived; watching him grow into a sweet and gentle being; and finally to hold that same tiny paw as he slipped away to wherever sweet and gentle souls go.
Today is indeed a sad day. We will move through the days ahead with a heavy and broken heart.
Farewell sweet soul Uncle Charlie. Your life has enriched us and we are forever changed.
